I enjoy the process of design. My focus is finding ways to combine the standard techniques of the industry: appliqué, felt, canvas, trims and embellishments and reinvent them with various screen-printing methods.

 

My inspiration comes from people, places and things both high and lowbrow. Ideas come from things that I love; family, friends, books, catalogs, movies, vinyl records, upscale restaurants and sketchy food trucks. It’s about exploring; discovering and appreciating overlooked underappreciated objects.

 

I admire the details of good design. I look at the past to inspire me in the present and open up new possibilities. This idea that anything is possible is what keeps me going. I see my life as journey not a destination and I’m in it for the ride.
